The Vision Behind the App

FitStation was created on a mission to build stronger connections and raise community spirit. Founder, Roger Williams, wanted to build the bridge of communication for the fitness world. He wanted to ensure fitness leaders, gurus, enthusiasts and beginners alike, had a space to join together and motivate one another to achieve their personal goals. So he worked with Scopic to craft a supportive fitness network that allows fitness leaders to provide support from within the pockets of their tribes, no matter where they are.

The Scopic Solution

FitStation joined forces with Scopic’s fitness app development services to build, design and market this cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android users. Developing this app from scratch, our mobile experts began by building in features to help with everyday fitness such as:

And more!

We then kept the app growing and socially active by developing a fitness social network with a newsfeed built into the product. This enhanced user interaction and gave FitStation members the ability to create their own tribes.

The result is a simple tool that allows agents to customize their logo, property photos, color palette, custom questions, and follow up text messages. The app also verifies every lead and automatically extracts their background information to unlock marketing personalization. The Zapier integration connects Block Party with over 2000 CRMs and marketing apps.

Social media has vastly evolved over the years. It’s become a place where we share almost anything and everything with our family, friends, and followers. Recently, social media has become a go-to source for people to air their dirty laundry as well as share opinions or beliefs about current topics. When this happens, they can be confronted with debates from their communities.

The challenge then becomes, are these the right platforms for people to express their thoughts on these topics? Many would argue yes, why not, while others would answer no. Thus, a safe space was required where people could voice their ideas and freely discuss topics with like-minded users without causing a stir or feeling unaccepted for their thinking.

The Vision Behind the App

CNKT wanted to create an app devoted to helping people share their way of thinking and opinions judgement-free.
They envisioned the app as a go-to source for American users to freely discuss real issues or topics. An app where community input would be valued and appreciated without interrupting the light-hearted feel of other social streams.

With this specific forum app in mind, CNKT contacted Scopic’s development team to bring their idea into existence.

The Scopic Solution

Our team of developers worked closely with CNKT to create this new kind of social platform. The app was designed to provide American users with a safe space to ask and answer questions. Everything from climate change to upcoming fashion trends can be discussed with other passionate, community members.

We developed the app to include images, videos, text, and word clouds to create a query related to any topic or to reply to pre-existing queries. The application was built using MySQL and HTML5 Canvas and allows access to Payoneer.

In addition, they are often not updated in real-time, failing to warn adverse or destructive weather conditions.

The Vision Behind the App

Storm Chasers aimed to provide a solution for all the people that love watching mother nature in action or just like to stay informed when severe weather is near. The company aimed to allow users to chase tornadoes from the comfort of their couch. Their vision was to become the largest storm chasing team around with 100s of members. This could help in achieving their goal of building an interactive livestream solution.

The company was familiar with our experience on the matter, and entrusted us to fulfill that vision.

The Scopic Solution

Storm Chasers is a mobile application that allows users to post and show storms on Zoom Radar maps. The application connects people who want to stay informed about weather conditions, as users can chase storms and see video streams from stormy areas in real time. Building the application from the ground up allowed Scopic’s team to develop this mobile app – which was originally a web app – with technologies such as “hybrid” Ionic framework, Quickblox (for instant messaging), AdMob (for Ads), Google Maps, and Cordova. After the release, Scopic worked on making continuous improvements to the application.

They decided to select over 90 real Treasure Beaches. They focused on selecting peaceful spots with a laidback and relaxed atmosphere. They contacted Scopic to finally put that information to good use.

Scopic built Treasure Beaches Thailand application with the aim of giving you all the answers if you are in Thailand during summertime. The app asks you to tell what type of beach you are looking for, in what region or other details, and it will get you to your perfect beach in no time. Information of accommodations is listed for all of the beaches in the app. Illustrated with loads of pictures of the beaches and the stays, the user-friendly interface allows you to easily decide whether this might be your perfect spot.

However, for the development of such a solution, advanced applications like higher-resolution dual-pol radar technology are needed. This requires specific experience, knowledge and expertise on the matter, which is often costly and difficult to rely on.

Zoom Radar aimed to provide an accurate way for users to get warned in time. They believed they could become a part of the pursuit of any severe weather condition. The company’s vision consisted in correctly forecasting and intercepting tornadoes, hurricanes, and thunderstorms.
