Everyone wants to be fit and healthy, but not all find the motivation every day to go to the gym or pull weights in their living room. The one thing that helps is working out with friends – when one is feeling demotivated, the rest can cheer them up and inspire them to continue the workout.

But as is often the case, you and your friends may not always live in the same neighborhood, the same city, or even the same country. So working out together is not possible. Or is it?

The Vision Behind the App

Fit Together came to life on a mission to allow groups of friends to sync workout DVDs and exercise together in real time anywhere in the world. The founder wanted to create the first social fitness application that would give users the opportunity to interact via onscreen chat and text while simultaneously viewing the same workout DVD. So he partnered with Scopic, a fitness software development and desktop application development company, to bring his idea to life and give people the motivation they needed to commit to a workout routine.

The Animal Combination Challenge

Have you ever wondered what a half giraffe, half zebra would look like? Or maybe even a goat, dog combination?

It’s one thing to think about it and visualize it in our minds, it’s a whole other thing to actually, physically see what these types of animal combinations could really look like.

The Vision Behind the App

The visionaries behind Switch Zoo wanted to bring these imaginative creatures to life (virtually). They pictured an app where children could use their imagination to create their own varieties of animals by combining different species. They also wanted the app to not only be fun, but educational, where kids could learn about animals, build habitats, and more.

With this fun educational app idea, they sought out Scopic for our software development services.

The Scopic Solution

Our team took this exciting app framework to create the Switch Zoo app. We developed the app to be a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android users as a fun and creative activity for kids.

The app is completely entertaining with multiple educational components. While children can combine their favorite animals to see what they would look like, they are also learning about habitats, reading facts about animals, solving puzzles, taking virtual field trips, and building homes for their new species.

The Customized Car Challenge

What happens when a car enthusiast decides to make alterations to their car and customize it more to suit their tastes? They picture it in their mind and make the leap of taking the car to the dealer. After a couple of days they go to check out their changed vehicle with the fear of not seeing what they had imagined.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to see what your car would look like before you committed to customizing it in real life?

The Vision Behind the App

And that’s how ChopShop Car Styler, a web application, came to life. The founder was on a mission to create an app that could be used to design and customize cars virtually. Users would have the opportunity of choosing different car models and making different modifications to them, such as on the body, wheels, and seats. This would let users visualize what their cars would look like in real life before making any physical changes. So he partnered with Scopic to create this innovative web application that would let his users visualize their customized cars before committing to any major changes.

ChopShop Car Styler joined forces with Scopic to build a web application where users can design and customize their cars virtually. With native and cross platform development, image processing algorithms and actionscript, our coders brought the application to life. The perfect MRI and CT simulation

The Challenge

MRI and CT scan machines are expensive and powerful. All individuals who are studying to become MRI and CT technicians or nurses must be trained thoroughly before conducting any scans on real patients. This training is quite costly and MRI and CT scans are in high-demand at most health care facilities. As a result, trainee healthcare practitioners do not always have consistent access to the machinery when undergoing vital preparatory training.

The Vision

With this in mind, the client wanted to build a customized application that would simulate the functionalities of a real MRI and CT scan machine. They believed that by creating a realistic approximation of an MRI and CT scanner, they would be able to effectively train medical practitioners without the need to use the real machine. Seeking to bring their vision into the reality, the team started looking for custom healthcare software development services providers.

The Scopic Solution

Our talented developers listened to the clients’ unique ideas and went on to create this demo version of an MRI and CT scanner from the ground up. The product we built allowed for the acclimation and training of participants in a controlled environment, thus increasing the safety and accessibility of MRI and CT training programs.

The authenticity of the MRI and CT Simulator allows users to gradually become accustomed to the scanning procedure. The UI is also interactive and simulative, making participants feel like they are using the real thing.

Full-time students and employees alike want to learn and grow, but often encounter two main constraints:

Time – Lack of time often prevents people from pursuing a certification that validates their competences. A lot of time is invested in traditional classroom settings and, generally, people need to be able to keep up with the pace of the rest of the group regardless of other commitments they might have.

Access – They are constrained to learn on specific schedules and at a specific time, limiting the flexibility of their working and entertainment hours. In addition, people are also restricted to only one type of learning source, creating biased opinions and damaging creativity.

The Vision Behind the App

Accounting E-learning iPad company envisioned education being accessible by all, no matter where they are and when they can learn. This was especially applied to accounting as it is a learned profession that becomes essential in any business. The aim of the company was to provide a solution that would help users gain a competitive advantage in the market and increase their competency constructively.
As the implementation of this idea played a vital role in its success, they contacted Scopic to further understand how to make an accounting course accessible to anyone, anywhere.

The Scopic Solution

After building the desktop application, Scopic was also asked to develop the iPad version of this accounting education app as a comprehensive textbook-replacement tool that teaches introductory accounting. Our experts created a user-friendly interface that combined video tutorials, slides, and interactive problem-solving sections. The user can learn lesson-by-lesson or browse using the alphabetical order option when looking for a specific topic.

The Unique Peer-to-Peer Exchange Service

In addition, AutoRay allows for the high volume production of CDs or DVDs with printed demographics and hospital logos for patients and professionals alike.

When building this game-changer of an application, Scopic ensured the software interface was designed to be very user-friendly and intuitive, so that medical staff would require very little training to successfully operate the system.
