The Challenge

Monitoring stocks with their full feed from the NASDAQ stock market requires a dynamic portal that needs to be updated every few minutes. That is a challenge in itself for most stock traders.

Most users need a real-time portal to help connect their trading accounts through the application and make trades on the market. Predicting which hot stocks to invest in can be hard to gauge without a clear view of stocks at all times.

The Vision

The founders of StocksToTrade were looking to build a user-friendly portal that would allow for real-time stock market analysis. They wanted users to be able to analyze stock markets based on cumulative and live data. They suggested the need for an interactive desktop application that would be designed for stock market users to monitor stocks with their full feed from the NASDAQ stock market. They wanted to implement cutting-edge technology that would use algorithms to help predict hot stocks for day traders.

The Scopic Solution

The Scopic team set about creating this application from scratch by using a few programming languages like RubyOnRails, C++, and MySQL. Our team fully developed this stock analysis software to follow and analyze stock markets based on cumulative and live data. Even though the backend is complex, the UI design is user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing with the addition of 2D charting.

By integrating the app with institutional data providers and leading financial brokerages, we created a functionally superior tool that would not only display live stock market stats, but would also be able to predict hot stocks for traders.

Numerous maritime emergency situations consist of drifting vessels since defining their patterns may become challenging. The hydrodynamic water-body interaction that takes place makes the motion of the vessel complicated. Often people have to rely on real testing in order to fulfill the process. This may become time-consuming and costly as vessels have to travel a long distance from their place of launch.

The Vision Behind the App

The company’s vision was to provide the industry with a feasible solution to the vessel maneuvers. They aimed to provide people with the positions and directions of boats without necessarily having access to real devices.

After getting familiar with Scopic’s vast experience in platform development, they entrusted us to develop the right software.

The Scopic Solution

Scopic developed 3D Port Guard, a software application used to estimate vessel drift when the vessel is berthed.Our experts conducted algorithms using data from LiDARs mounted on berth in order to estimate the drift.

The software also provides a berth simulator to simplify setup, development and testing process. The simulator proved to be quite efficient in the delivery of the final product as it anticipated many tests before making any algorithm-related decisions. The app works with several LiDARs to get an accurate scan of the vessel.

The Scopic Solution

Scopic developed Digital Signage SaaS, an all-in-one content management software tool.
Scopic’s team created the app from scratch using Laravel, NW.js, FEMpeg, and MySQL database. Throughout the discovery process, we helped in finalizing the system’s features as well as suggested to the client the best fitting technologies.

The software displays content in the form of advertisements through remote screens in public such as restaurants, hotels or companies. Users can access various features: content management, screen management, and configuration of display settings.

Scopic worked together with Ikalogic and built ScanaStudio, a simple software with complex development. This platform runs all Ikalogic Logic Analyzer devices. It’s super easy to use, yet, it’s packed with professional features like protocol based trigger, packet-views, and signal editor. The ScanaStudio helps you get the most out of your logic analyzer. It’s designed to be intuitive, future-evolutions ready, easy to appropriate, and fast to execute.

The founder of MakeMeOld envisioned a desktop image editor app that would allow its users to check what their future selves would look like. He wanted to build an app that would be entertaining and would help people get their minds out of everyday activities. He imagined that the face aging app would analyze the faces of users by checking their photos and showcase the results immediately. So he joined forces with Scopic, a desktop application development company, to create MakeMeOld.

Scopic, with its desktop application development services, helped build MakeMeOld. Our coders used technologies such as C++, Linux, and image processing algorithms when working on the app.
